The over-150-year-old Faro Cumplida lighthouse is one of the oldest lighthouses in Spain, and it is undoubtedly the most romantic due to recent renovations. Today it is a place where you can experience the history of the site, feel first-hand the power of the ocean, or just relax inside and enjoy the simple modern accommodations. The lighthouse is home to one of the most beautiful pools in the world.   You can climb to the top of the lighthouse and take in the breath-taking view from the 34m high platform.  Faro Cumplida is an unforgettable experience.

When referring to the Canary Islands, La Palma is called "the beautiful" or "the green" island. It contains the most fresh water and is the greenest and by far the most beautiful of the Canary Islands. The laid-back and welcoming nature of the locals, together with the mild climate, make it the perfect travel destination. Temperatures rarely fall below 20 degrees in winter or rise above 26 degrees in summer. La Palma is home to beautiful natural pools between volcanic rocks and spectacular hiking and mountain biking trails.

On 330 sqm guests will find everything they need for a few days far away from everyday life.  Guests enter their own private suite from the typical Canarian interior patio. The Farero Suite offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a fireplace.  The large terrace offers space for 4 guests with over 100 sqm. The Atlantic Suite offers fantastic sea views, and the slightly larger La Palma Suite offers couples the perfect setting for unlimited romance.

The sight of the Atlantic waves breaking onto the volcanic cliffs from the 34-meter-high viewing platform is an awe-inspiring experience. Picture yourself toasting a special occasion with a loved one while creating new memories on your own private terrace. Here you can feel what has fascinated generations of lighthouse keepers. Nature and civilization meet here.

If the lighthouse itself with its spectacular lookout, roof terrace, private Atlantic terraces in front of each suite, the yoga platform, infinity pool terrace and 5000 sqm large garden are not enough,  the enchanted harbour of "Puerto Talavera" is a short walk away.   Tides permitting, you can jump from the historic port walls into the Atlantic Ocean for a wonderful swim. A short drive through banana plantations leads to the beautiful natural pools of La Fajana.  The best restaurant on the island can be found in Barlovento, a town above the lighthouse where you can see the old original light from the lighthouse, restored by the old lighthouse keeper born in Barlovento.

In the morning our housekeeper will bring you a wonderful breakfast basket directly to your suite.
A fully equipped kitchen is available so you can cater yourself. 
You can contact us regarding a romantic candlelight dinner at the lighthouse delivered by a neighboring restaurant.
A small supermarket and nice restaurants are only 10–15-minute (windy) drive away.
For a small snack after a long journey, we can provide a tapas platter with local specialties in the fridge on request.

DIRECTIONS

La Palma can be reached directly from many international airports or via the Madrid and Tenerife hubs. From Germany, EasyJet and Condor fly directly to La Palma in 5.5 hours.

From the airport it is 50 minutes by rental car or 50€ by taxi.

How to get there

Faro Cumplida is located below Barlovento in the northeast of La Palma, about 40 km from the airport. Follow the signs "Faro Punta Cumplida".
