Faro Punta Cumplida

The lighthouse Faro Cumplida is with over 150 years the oldest and after the extensive renovation probably the most romantic lighthouse of Spain. Today it is a place where you can feel the history and the power of the ocean and relax in a simple, modern ambience. The mild climate of the Canary Islands, one of the most beautiful pools in the world and the breathtaking view from the 34m high platform make the experience unforgettable. 

Not for nothing La Palma is also called "the beautiful" or "the green" island. It is the island with the most water, the greenest and by far the most beautiful of the Canary Islands. The mild climate makes it the perfect travel destination. Temperatures rarely fall below 20 degrees in winter or rise above 26 degrees in summer. Beautiful natural pools between rocks, spectacular hiking trails and mountain bike trails and the relaxed nature of the inhabitants make you forget your everyday life shortly after landing. 

On 330 sqm the guests will find everything they need for a few days far away from everyday life. From the typical Canarian patio, guests enter their own private suite. The Farero Suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, fireplace and large terrace offers space for 4 guests with over 100 sqm. The Atlantic Suite with fantastic sea views from the bed and the slightly larger La Palma Suite offer couples the perfect setting for romantic hours. 

To see the Atlantic waves rolling onto the rocks from the 34 meter high viewing platform is meditation. Toasting a loved one on the terrace in front of one of the 3 stylish suites can feel like a wedding kiss. Here you can feel what has fascinated generations of lighthouse keepers. Nature and civilization meet here. The view from far above sometimes helps to recognize the important things better. 

The lighthouse itself with the spectacular lookout, the roof terrace, the private Atlantic terraces in front of the suites, the infinity pool terrace and the 5000sqm large garden make excursions into the surroundings superfluous. Nevertheless, the enchanted harbour of "Puerto Talavera" lures to a short walk. With calm water you can jump from the former quay wall into the Atlantic Ocean. A short drive through banana plantations leads to the natural pools of La Fajana. The best restaurants on the island can be found in Barlovento, above the lighthouse. 

In the morning our housekeeper will bring you a wonderful breakfast basket directly to your suite. A fully equipped kitchen is available so you can cater yourself. 

You can contact us regarding a romantic candlelight dinner at the lighthouse delivered by a neighboring restaurant. A small supermarket and nice restaurants are only 10–15-minute (windy) drive away.

For a small snack after a long journey, we can provide a tapas platter with local specialties in the fridge on request.
